couple things to note, my homestay mom thought gigi was my sister in that picture of me, uncle bob, aunt robin, and gigi at the akron museum of art...she almost had a heart attack when i told her she was my grandma...
they also thought my mom was my sister...
and for some reason they used the word "smart" as adjective to describe how everyone looked...
fun times.
